Conception on the Basis of an Emerging Design System
The French pharmaceutical company Sanofi needed a relaunch concept for a now outdated training platform for pharmacists and their employees. This concept was also intended to extend the newly emerging global design system to fully meet their needs, with a preference for cost-effective modifications to existing modules and components. In this way, the project became a pilot project for further training platforms worldwide, which can be adapted to the respective regional specifics.
Interface to the Sales Force
At the same time, the aim was to enable sales representatives to compile targeted training and promotional offers for specific needs during talks in the pharmacies and to send them to the respective pharmacists.
Interests of the Target Group First
During interviews with pharmacists, their employees and Sanofi's sales representatives, the usage scenarios were evaluated and used as a basis for the realignment of the relaunch concept. Informational dead ends and irrelevant information that had developed over the years were updated, streamlined or removed if they no longer represented real added value for users.
The previous login process, which offered two different ways for users to register for different services, was replaced by a single, simple login, as cursor tracking studies clearly showed that the dropout rate increased significantly with two login options. This insight also led to Sanofi providing a single, global account for all its customers for all offers in the future.
