Interactive Exhibition Design
The Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture, as one of the largest exhibitors at the International Green Week 2017 in Berlin, required two information terminals, which on the one hand provided information about the origin of organically produced food and on the other hand about the change in the eating habits of German citizens over the last 100 years and encouraged discussion with visitors to the exhibition.
Modify and Invent
An existing multimedia presentation on the Ministry's website was converted into a stand-alone application and the functions were expanded. This made it possible for visitors to the exhibition to discuss the change in nutrition in the Federal Republic of Germany over the last 100 years while sitting at a table opposite using interactive "epoch plates".
Another terminal was designed from scratch. The integration of multimedia content and easy operation played an important role. Visitors were to be visually captured and encouraged to explore the organic farms promoted by the BMEL as model and trial projects.
